Getting There:
Loreto is located on the Baja California Peninsula, approximately 350 miles (563 km) north of Cabo San Lucas. Fly into Loreto International Airport (LTO) or drive from nearby cities.
7:45 AM – 8:00 AM: Arrival
- Arrive at the tour departure dock in downtown marina
- Sign waiver and recieve wrist band for entering UNESCO area.
- Receive snorkeling gear and safety instructions
- Board the boat (typically a 24-30 ft. panga)
8:00 AM – 8:45 AM: Boat ride
-Depart from Loreto’s marina and head to Coronados Island (approx. 30-40 minutes)
– Enjoy scenic views of Loreto Bay, the Sierra de la Giganta mountains, and the island
9:00 AM -11:00 AM: Snorkeling
-Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the island’s west side
– Explore underwater lava formations, sea fans, and coral
